Made for my husband's 27th birthday. The end of the box was made from chocolate. I used toothpicks to hold it up. I had to stick them into some sour patch kids to keep them from moving around. I outlined the letters beforehand.
This cake originally was going to be a Muppet cake. I didn't have any decorating bags, so I used a Ziploc. That is until it exploded. So, now to do a cake with a black background. Pac-man it was. Bubble gum is around the cake. The bright colors made it awesome.
For my 25th birthday, two of my brothers made me a cake. It is a skunk tail. :) They so graciously decorated a cake for me because while I wanted a cake, I didn't want to do it myself. That would be weird.
Made for my husband's 26th birthday. The steak didn't work out the way I wanted it to. If I do a steak again, I'll do a T-bone instead. The peas look like they took tons of work, but it was actually was the easiest for me. The butter was sculpted white chocolate (dyed yellow). The mashed potatoes used a LOT of frosting to get the right texture. Black sugar sprinkles for pepper. Carmel sauce as gravy.
Made for brother's 27th birthday. My brothers and I can quote this movie almost word for word. It seemed fitting. :) I hat making black frosting. To get the right color I always feel like I have to use tons of the dye. Made a quick outline with a toothpick just so I could have a guesstimate.
